Piercing guide › Intimate piercings › Apadravya
The apadravya goes vertically through the glans, usually through the urethra.
It is the vertical counterpart to the ampallang and takes a similarly long time to heal.
Usually a straight bar made of implant-grade material.
The basic rules of aftercare apply here too: sterile saline solution, clean hands, don't twist the jewellery. More on the Care and aftercare page.
When to see a doctor
I don't do intimate piercings. This page explains what the piercing is. If you want one, choose a studio that specialises in intimate piercings and looks at your anatomy beforehand. The healing time is a guide value, averaged from information given by piercing and tattoo studios. Where the figures come from.
