Piercing guide › Intimate piercings › Hafada
The hafada sits in the skin of the scrotum, usually at the top on one side. It only goes through the skin.
The skin is easy to lift. The testicle itself is not touched.
A ring or straight bar made of implant-grade material is usual.
The basic rules of aftercare apply here too: sterile saline solution, clean hands, don't twist the jewellery. More on the Care and aftercare page.
When to see a doctor
I don't do intimate piercings. This page explains what the piercing is. If you want one, choose a studio that specialises in intimate piercings and looks at your anatomy beforehand. The healing time is a guide value, averaged from information given by piercing and tattoo studios. Where the figures come from.
